The Farrah is a beautiful two toned wide brimmed straw hat in crimson red.

The wide brim can be worn pinned back on either side using the pearl and gold detail hat pin.

This super stylish piece of headwear is hand blocked in England after being made from cuenca weave straw using artisan techniques by a small local community in Ecuador.

The Inner elasticated cotton ribbon helps secure a comfortable fit.

Designed in collaboration with talented British milliner Ruth Merlin Ravenscroft.

The Farrah extra large brim panama hat is hand woven in Ecuador. Our straw supplier visits and works closely with the community of artisan weavers. The pale gold under brim is a fine brisa weave which has been blocked together with a brightly coloured twisted weave panama straw top. The straws are mostly woven in the weavers homes or in small community groups and then taken to washed and treated. All water used in the process is disposed of under government environmental guidelines. The Farrah comes with a faux pearl and metal pin so that it can be worn pinned back as shown in pink or as a simple elegant lampshade brim. The pin can be up cycled and used on other hats or turbans. The Farrah has a cotton elasticated inner ribbon for a comfortable fit. The head size can be adjusted upon request. The Farrah can be styled in many ways. Its bright happy colours are perfect to colour block. Spring 22 is all about the joy of mixing luscious colours and playing with new combinations, whether with a trouser suit or a pretty print, With the brim pinned back it has a more fabulous fifties feel that evokes Riviera chic. This hat will weave itself into phots of happy memories for years to come from Henley Regatta to white sand beaches. Care This bright colour straw needs careful protection from the sun when not worn and should be stored in its box. All straws will eventually fade over time which adds to their natural charm. It is best packed upside down with plenty of tissue to support the brim. If it has been pinned back for a long time and you wish to wear the brim down again give it a light waft of steam from a kettle. For any other care or re block queries please contact a member of the team.
